All ages are treated, average age 16-25 years. Therapy groups are stratified by age.

Insurance Information: 
Almost all insurance plans are accepted including Aetna, Anthem Bule Cross Blue Shield, Assurant, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Cigna, Fortis, Golden Rule Insurance Company, Health Network, Humana, Independence Blue Cros, Principal Financial Group and United Health Group. Single case agreements are occasionally made with other insurance providers. Medicaid is accepted for patients under 21 and over 65.

Treatment
12 Step Program: 
A 12 step program is utilized in the Center for Addiction (including chemical dependency, gambling addiction, internet addiction, gaming addiction, and sex addiction)
Specialized Treatment Tracks: 
There are specialized programs that treat self-injury, anxiety, OCD, school refusal, PTSD, chemical dependency in both adolescents and adults, and process addictions. There is also a track for professionals who are in our programs as well as general psychiatric programs for adolescents and adults. These programs may be "cross-tracked" for patients according to their individual needs and treatment plans. In our eating disorders program we treat anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, emotional eating, diabetics with eating disorders, and athletes.
Medical Treatment: 
A medical doctor is available onsite. However, a patient's PCP may be collaborated with if the patient is an the outpatient program. The medical hospital is located on the same property behind the behavioral health hospital and is utilized if patients are in need of more intensive medical attention or if they are in the outpatient program and need lab work drawn.
Individual Therapy: 
This depends on the patients' level of care, individual treatment plan, and progress in treatment. Inpatient: 3X per week, PHP/IOP: 1X per week, Outpatient: As needed.
Individual Nutrition Counseling: 
1X per week in addition to nutrition group 1X per week.
Psychiatric Consultations: 
1 to 2X per week.
Family Therapy: 
1X per week in addition to multi-family therapy group 1X per week
Exercise Component: 
Dietitians address all exercise issues and plans. Any OCD tendencies towards exercise can be treated in OCD program using exposure and response therapy with patients. Exercise program dependent on individualized treatment plan
Therapy Approaches: 
Self-Regulation, CBT, mindfulness as part of DBT, expressive therapy including art and body movement, body image, spirituality, solution focused, motivational interviewing, family systems, and exposure and response therapy.
Group Therapy: 
Depending on the level of care - Inpatient Hospitalization - up to 37 groups. (PHP) - 15 groups + breakfast,lunch, and daily snack time.

Self-regulation, healthy relationships, coping skills, nutrition, body image, relapse prevention, spirituality
Nutrition
Number of Meals/Snacks per Day: 
Inpatient - 3 meals and 2-3 snacks ; Outpatient (depending on PHP or IOP) - PHP - 2 meals and 2 snacks eaten in program and then 1 meal plus possibly 1 snack eaten at home.
Meal Completion Requirements: 
Dietitians monitor the percentage of meals/ snacks eaten and then discuss percentage of meal plan eaten with patients/ families. The goal is 95-100% of meal completion. In the event that a patient is unable to complete a meal, the patient is supplemented with Ensure and Boost. If patient consumes 50% of meal tray provide ½ can of Ensure Plus, if patient consumes 25% of meal tray provide 75% of Ensure Plus, if patient completes 75% of meal tray provide 25% Ensure Plus. Tube feeding is done onsite when necessary.
Meal Planning/Preparing: 
Food service department prepare and portion food.
Meal Support and Processing: 
Yes, dietitians and therapists are present during meals/snacks. 1 night/ week patients on the Inpatient Unit can have dinner with their family in the hospital cafeteria while a therapist is present during this meal time. Patients engage in meal processing after meals.

ANAD support groups are held 2X per week at the faciliy. Mon: 6-7:30pm OPEN group, Thurs: 6-7:30pm CLOSED group
PHP Housing/Transportation: 
Housing not available although there are negotiated rates with hotels close by. Transportation is not provided unless patient is staying at the negotiated hotels close by.
Patient Follow-up: 
None unless the patient attends ANAD.
